aparecieron esparcidas

entre las bolsas de basura que recogía

en un vertedero de Bogotá.

 

Ocho de cada diez partes de la piel

de un trabajador del turno de noche del taller textil

que ardió en llamas en el centro de Delhi

quedaron calcinadas

tras el incendio.

 

El noventa por ciento del labio superior

del joven que abandonó Rabat para cruzar el Estrecho a nado

se tornaron de color morado tras ahogarse en el mar.

 

Varones de entre treinta y cinco y setenta años

de más de cinco nacionalidades distintas

sabrían decir el color de las bragas que llevaba

aquella niña de Bangkok

la noche que fue degollada.

 

Entre cuatro y seis cajas de cartón protegían

a la anciana que murió congelada

en una calle de Moscú.
